Rick Neelan (Greg Wood) has been causing quite a stir since his return to Coronation Street earlier this year, but — what with the loan shark having mysteriously disappeared — has he perhaps went a step too far in his pursuit to destroy Gary Windass (Mikey North)?
After a seven year absence, the villainous Rick returned to Weatherfield to collect the debt that Gary secretly owed him. Since then, the gangster has made Garys life a living hell. From stealing his tools to playing with his head — not to mention resorting to physical violence — Rick has certainly made an enemy of the builder.
Up until recently, it was Rick who had the upper hand in the pairs rivalry, but will Gary seek revenge in the coming episodes? With Rick nowhere to be found, Craig (Colson Smith) decides to do some detective work, making it his mission to track down the evil loan shark.
Later, he learns that Rick has went abroad. However, theres soon reason to believe that this isnt the case, given that the gangsters car turns up on a street. As a result of this development, the police begin checking out CCTV in the surrounding areas.
A few days later, a young girl arrives in Weatherfield with only one thing on her mind: tracking down Rick.
