A dad punched his three month-old daughters head then bashed her against the ground until her eyes bled, police say.
Sean Dykes, 24, is accused of attacking the youngster at his home in Richmond, Kentucky, last week, with the tiny girl receiving 27 fractures.
Richmond Police Assistant Chief Rodney Richardson told WKYT: She was beaten with his fist in her head.
She was picked up and slammed on the floor several times.
Its unimaginable that a father could do this to their daughter.
He added: Luckily, with a lot of prayer, I think, and some blessing, shes still alive.
Right now other than some long-term effects she may be doing OK.
Dykes alleged attack left his daughter suffering a fractured skull, ribs, spine, arms, legs, hands and feet.
She also suffered retinal hemorrhaging, bruises and suspected internal injuries, which doctors are now working to identify.
Dykes, who was arrested last Thursday, is reported to have been the only person with the girl at the time of the attack.
He called 911 after the girl began to suffer from seizures.
He has now been charged with criminal abuse and domestic violence.
