Disney has released new posters for The Lion King, showing all of the main characters with credits to their voice actors in the posters and we cant contain our excitement.
The official Disney account got very busy today as it began sharing out some very stunning pictures of the characters.
We even got to see Simba and Nala in both their young and adult version ahead of the films release.
They tweeted 11 images with the caption: 50 days. #TheLionKing.
We really hope these 50 days fly by us, because we dont know if we can wait for that long until we get to hear the rumble in the jungle.
The posters came as Beyonce, who plays adult Nala, has been noticeably absent from The Lion King trailers so getting a closer look at what Nala looks like should appease the Beyhive.
But dont worry, the best is yet to come, according to her co-star Billy Eichner who has teased her anticipated performance.
The 37-year-old will star alongside Donald Glover, who will take the lead role of Simba, and has recorded a duet of Can You Feel The Love Tonight? with Donald.
And, as expected, it sounds beautiful.
During his appearance on Crooked Medias Keep It podcast, Billie teased: Shes definitely in the movie because Ive seen a rough cut.
And Ive heard her sing Can You Feel the Love Tonight? with Donald Glover and Im telling you, its f****** good.
Tell. Us. More.
And that was never my favourite song to be totally honest, Billie continued.
I liked it when Elton John sang it. I love Elton John. I dont want to give too much away about that, they do not want us talking about it. I will just say that honestly, it made me cry and I was not expecting that.
We sense a classic in the making.
Billy will play Timon alongside Seth Rogen as Pumba in the remake, while James Earl Jones is reprising his role as Mufasa, the character he voiced in the 1994 original.
On his own role as the comedic meerkat, Billy said: [Playing Timon is] shocking, its bizarre, its terrifying.
You cant really do it better than [Nathan Lane] did it, you can just do it your way.
