When are the soaps on this Christmas? EastEnders, Coronation Street, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks schedules

Youve probably done most of your shopping, arranged when youre seeing youre relatives, planned out how many tubs of Celebrations youll get through and sorted your hangover movies for Boxing Day. But have you planned out when youll be sitting down to EastEnders, Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks, Casualty and Holby City?

Its important maths, as with the holidays timings have changed and there will need to be some juggling in order not to miss a second of the festive soapiness. For instance, on 1 January theres a huge clash between Coronation Street and EastEnders, which one will you choose to watch? There are some bumper Hollyoaks episodes coming up, but that also means there will be some days youll have to go without, and theres a couple of extra Emmerdales you wont want to miss.
