A Marriott guest is suing the hotel after she was allegedly thrown out when she discovered a huge swingers party.
Hale Lewis claims she booked three days at the hotel in Atlanta over New Year’s Eve in 2016.
Court documents allege Lewis got talking to a man who tried to charge her more for being on a floor that had been completely booked by Swingers of Atlanta, reports TMZ.
When she refused, she was allegedly led out in handcuffs in her pajamas after police were called.
Lewis claims she booked through the hotel’s normal system and was not part of the swingers party.
Marriott has not commented on the lawsuit.
We all know and love the Marriott for this viral note discovered by an anonymous American traveller and shared on Reddit some time ago.
The note, written on Courtyard Marriott notepaper and left on the bed for the unsuspecting traveller to find, warned: ‘If you’re reading this, then housekeeping did not change your sheets!’
Ew. It struck horror into the heart of every traveller.
The horrified guest explained: ‘Heard something crinkle when I settled in for the night.’
